1. A first look
You send the website address and a few lines about what you need. We look at the public side of the site: what it runs on, whether the certificate is valid, how old the visible parts are and whether the forms work. If something looks urgent, we say so in our reply.
2. A written quote
The quote lists what the plan covers for your site, how edits work, whether hosting is included, how long backups are kept and what it costs each month. If the site needs a cleanup before regular care makes sense, that's quoted as a separate one-time job. Nothing starts until you accept.
3. Access and a first backup
You give us access to the site admin and the hosting account, or we set up new hosting with you. Before touching anything, we take a full backup and keep it apart from the regular ones. That copy is the site exactly as we found it.
4. Cleanup, if needed
Sites that haven't been looked after for a while often have a pile of overdue updates, plugins nobody uses and a few broken links. We work through them carefully, one at a time, checking the site after each step. Old plugins with no replacement get flagged for you to decide on.
5. The monthly routine
From then on, the plan runs in the background: daily backups, updates in a set order with a restore point before each, security patches when they come out, hosting checks, and your edits whenever you send them. The concept care logs show what a month can look like.
6. If you leave
Plans run month to month unless your quote says otherwise. If you stop, we hand over every login, a full backup and notes on anything still open. Your site keeps working; it just stops getting looked after by us.
Logins and your data
Logins are used only to work on your site and are kept in a password manager, not in email. If a production partner helps with the work, they are under a confidentiality agreement. See the privacy policy.
Send the address of your website and tell us what bugs you about keeping it up. We reply with questions or a written quote for a plan.
