What counts as a small edit
Text changes
Hours, prices, phone numbers, service descriptions, a new paragraph on the about page.
Photos
Swapping images, adding a few new ones, resizing them so pages stay quick.
People
Adding or removing staff profiles, updating roles and photos.
Notices
Holiday hours, weather closures and announcement banners, put up and taken down.
Menus and lists
Food menus, product lists, service lists and simple tables.
Links and forms
Fixing broken links, changing where form messages go, adding a field.
How to send them
Email works best. A photo of a printed menu, a screenshot with an arrow, or a plain sentence like "Closed on the 4th, open late on the 5th" is enough. We make the change, look at it on a phone and a computer, and reply when it's done. If we're unsure what you meant, we ask before publishing.
Where small ends
A new page, a new section of the site, a redesign of the home page or a new feature such as booking or online payments is bigger than a small edit. When a request goes past the plan, we tell you and send a separate quote before starting. Nothing extra gets billed without your yes.
Editing it yourself
You can still make changes yourself. You can post news or swap a photo yourself and send the rest to us. We keep your login working and can show you the parts of the editor that are safe to touch.
Questions
Is there a limit on edits each month?
Plans include a set amount of edit time, written in your quote. If a month runs over, we tell you before doing the extra work.
Can you write the text for me?
For short pieces, yes: a holiday notice, a new service description, a staff bio from a few notes. Longer writing is quoted separately.
Send the address of your website and tell us what bugs you about keeping it up. We reply with questions or a written quote for a plan.
